Preschool Program
At St. Ignatius of Antioch School, we believe that a child's educational journey begins with a strong foundation rooted in faith, learning, and love. Our Preschool Program for 3- and 4-year-olds provides a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where young learners are encouraged to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Through hands-on, play-based learning experiences, our dedicated teachers foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning while helping students develop the essential skills needed for success in kindergarten and beyond. Children engage in age-appropriate instruction that builds early literacy, language, mathematics, science, and fine and gross motor skills. Equally important, our students learn to collaborate with others, solve problems, develop independence, and build confidence as they become active members of our school community.
Faith is woven throughout each day as students learn about God's love through prayer, stories, songs, and acts of kindness. Our Christ-centered approach helps our youngest learners develop compassion, respect for others, and an appreciation for the values and traditions of Catholic education that will guide them throughout their lives.
Preschool 3
Our Preschool 3 program is a full-day program designed specifically for three-year-old children who are ready to begin their educational journey. Families may choose from a three-day option (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) or a five-day option (Monday through Friday), allowing flexibility to meet the needs of each child and family. The program emphasizes learning through exploration, play, and meaningful experiences while helping children develop independence, social skills, and school readiness.
Preschool 4
Our Preschool 4 program is a full-day, five-day-a-week program that prepares students for a successful transition to kindergarten. Building upon the skills developed in Preschool 3, students participate in engaging, hands-on lessons that strengthen early reading, writing, mathematics, and critical thinking skills. They continue to grow socially and emotionally while developing confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning in a caring, faith-filled environment.
At St. Ignatius, our preschool students are more than just learners—they are valued members of our school family. We are committed to providing each child with the individualized attention, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive as they begin their lifelong journey of faith and academic excellence.
