Middle School Science Mrs. Hamacher

Mrs. Hamacher is an avid science and outdoor enthusiast. She has experience teaching pre- school to grade 8 Science. A proud mom of three boys and grandma to one grandson she lives here in Yardley where she resides with her husband Larry. 

The Middle School Science program at St. Ignatius of Antioch School encourages students to explore the world around them through hands-on learning, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking. Our goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts while fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

Students study a variety of topics, including life science, earth science, physical science, chemistry, and physics. Through engaging lessons, laboratory experiments, and group activities, they learn to ask questions, make observations, collect data, and draw conclusions using the scientific method.

Hands-on labs and investigations are an important part of the curriculum, allowing students to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world situations. Technology and STEM concepts are incorporated throughout the program to enhance learning and strengthen problem-solving skills.

As a Catholic school, we encourage students to appreciate the wonder of God's creation while developing a sense of responsibility for caring for the world around them.

Our Middle School Science program prepares students for the challenges of high school science by building a strong academic foundation, encouraging curiosity, and helping them become confident, independent learners.
