Middle School Religion

Hello, I'm Deacon Rich.  The curriculum for the 6th and 7th grade classes will be similar with the 7th grade class additionally preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
We emphasize that our goal is NOT an 'A' in Religion Class. It IS to deepen our relationship with Jesus.  To that end, our families can encourage that by praying together as a family (for example,  Grace Before Meals), making sure the student has an age-appropriate Catholic Bible of their own that they can read the Gospels 5 to 10 minutes a day, and MOST ESPECIALLY by attending Mass every week as a family.  Every Monday I ask the class for a show of hands of who attended Mass. Currently (as of 9/8/25) we are at 30-33%. Let's get to 95-100%!
