...to Pre-K 4B's class page! I am so happy to be teaching our littlest Crusaders in pre-K 4 this school year, in this, my 9th year at St. Ignatius! I treasure the opportunity to prepare my students for kindergarten, but I especially value my role in forming them in their faith and showing how tremendously God loves them. With a BA in Elementary Education from Holy Family (College) University, a Religion Certificate with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and vast professional experience teaching Fifth grade, First, Kindergarten and Pre-kindergarten, in both public and private settings, I strive to employ my skills and experience to develop and execute meaningful and engaging lessons and classroom activities that meet all learners' styles and educate the whole child. I believe my primary task is to help my students develop a thirst for learning and to make it fun and attainable! I also believe children both deserve and need structure, and they thrive best in an environment filled with a can-do attitude and lots of positivity!
In my personal life, I am blessed with two wonderful daughters and a husband of 27 years. I enjoy word games of all kinds, puzzles, and detective mysteries. My family is very involved in our home parish in various capacities, and we are all proud graduates and supporters of Catholic education.
Our wonderful classroom assistants, Ms. Hailey and Mrs. Morrison, and I work closely together to maintain an orderly, active and inviting learning environment, and strive each day to help our students achieve, blossom and develop the skills they will need for kindergarten and beyond.
