St. Ignatius School offers a learning support program to children with special learning needs through various practices, everything from accommodation and modification of the curriculum to push-in learning support and pull-out support. Our Learning Support specialist works with the parents, student, administration, and teacher to help create an individual plan that will offer the best opportunity for the student to succeed at our school. Catapult Learning Services provides speech, counseling, and remedial reading and math services through the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. Mrs. Cathleen Hastings is a dedicated and experienced educator serving as a Learning Support Teacher at Saint Ignatius of Antioch School in Yardley, Pennsylvania. She brings a passion for supporting diverse learners and creating an inclusive educational environment.
Mrs. Hastings holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. With her extensive background, she is committed to tailoring instruction to meet the unique needs of each student and fostering their academic, personal, and spiritual growth, in line with the school's mission to develop excellence while embracing 21st-century skills.
