Grade 2 - Mrs. Ficarro

My name is Mrs. Ficarro and I’m so excited to be here teaching at St. Ignatius for my 5th year! My husband and I moved back to the Yardley area with our 2 children in March of 2021. We have a 10 year old daughter and a 12 year old son.  My husband attended school here as a child, along with his brother and sister! My husband’s family have been members of the St. Ignatius Parish since 1984.
 I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rider University and later went on to get my Elementary Teacher Certification in NJ in 2001, MN in 2006, and PA in 2022.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades, as well as Preschool and Pre-K, over the last 24 years. I have a strong passion for teaching children of all ages, while trying to make it fun, to help foster a lifelong love for learning!
