Hello! My name is Kelly Murray, and I am so excited to continue working with all grades on art here at St. Ignatius School, from Pre-K through 8th. I’ve had the joy of teaching at St. Ignatius for the past 3½ years, and I truly feel grateful to be part of this creative community. I hold a BFA in Painting from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, and I’m currently completing my master’s degree in Art Education at Moore College of Art & Design. I also hold a Pennsylvania Instructional I Teaching Certification in Art Education for grades PK–12.
I’ve always had a passion for exploring all styles of art, and I especially love diving into the rich history behind each piece—from the bold colors of Pop Art to the masterful works of the Italian Renaissance. I feel incredibly fortunate to support our students in their creative journeys, encourage them to think imaginatively, and help them do their best work every day!
