I am excited to be teaching Honors Math again this year.  This is my 9th year teaching at St. Ignatius and 16th in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Prior to that I was an Internal Auditor for Phillips Van Heusen Corporation.  When I started my teaching career I taught 5th & 6th grade in a four room school outside of Pittsburgh.  I have a BS in Home Economics with 3 minors in Education (Day Care Administration, Early and Elementary Education) from Seton Hill University and I also have a BS in Accounting from St. Vincent College.  I am certified in Pennsylvania to teach Early and Elementary Education and 4th - 8th grade math. 

This year I've taken on a new project and I'm also the Librarian.  I meet with Pre-K 3 thru 4th grade once a week on a two week rotation.  Each class I read a story and the students have an activity to go along with the story.  Students are also able to check out books.  5th through 8th grade students are able to come to the library during lunch recess to check out books.
