Lee Escandon teaches general music at St Ignatius School. His courses expose children to a wide range of musical styles and genres across time, with an emphasis on Catholic sacred music, and he encourages music making and creativity in class. Born in California, he moved to the East Coast for graduate studies in 2000 and settled down in Yardley. He is a songwriter and has led several rock and classical ensembles over the years. He also works as a church choirmaster, a professional baritone, and a private teacher on several instruments. He is the coach of the St Ignatius Cricket Club and has started a choir for grades 5-8.
